THE REQUIREMENTS MATERIAL AND METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING/MATERIAL AND PRODUCTION ENGINEERING
In this article, I will be sharing with you the requirements needed to study metallurgical and material engineering and the job opportunities as a graduate of material and metallurgical engineering.
Material and metallurgical engineering is four (4) years course duration in the university and the requirements to study this course is highlighted below;
THE REQUIREMENTS TO STUDY MATERIAL AND METALLURGICAL/PRODUCTION ENGINEERING
A candidate who wishes to study material and metallurgical/production engineering will have to attained at least five (5) credit passes to include; English language, additional mathematics/mathematics, chemistry, physics and mostly technical drawing or any other lucrative and relevant science subject in NECO, WAEC, GCE or NABTEB.
UTME/JAMB SUBJECTS COMBINATION TO STUDY MATERIAL AND METALLURGICAL/PRODUCTION ENGINEERING
A candidate who wishes to write UTME in order to study material and metallurgical/production engineering must have to register four (4) subjects in his/her UTME which are to include; English language, chemistry, mathematics/additional mathematics, physics for proper evaluation and considerations.
JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR A GRADUATE OF MATERIAL AND METALLURGICAL/PRODUCTION ENGINEERING
In this field, a graduate of material and metallurgical/production engineering can work in many places and dispensations like; bridge constructions, wood productions, hydro-electricity, oil and gas companies, automobile companies, auto-static engineering, self employed, and amongst others.
